This is probably as beautiful as a server can get: Barry, an sgi Origin 2000 Deskside. I originally got it as a naked cube lacking the wheelbase or any skins. It was probably ripped out of a rack. So I had to inventory, buy a wheelbase, clean, get router boards to be able to use 4 nodeboards, I even got the „Craylink Jumper“ to connect the routers and finally got skins in mediocre shape. I did my best to clean them and even moulded some replacement hinges to some of the skins. Now, she looks really beautiful I think. But you better not touch. 🙂
